Deluxe Hauora is an emerging content creator in Aotearoa’s health and wellness sector, inspiring and motivating their followers through whakataukī and hauora-focussed kaupapa. At the beginning of their journey, Deluxe Hauora partnered with Mint and Honey to establish their brand across social media platforms and build a strong digital presence. To establish Deluxe Hauora’s presence online, we launched and managed the brand’s profiles across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn, building each platform from the ground up. This process involved creating optimised profiles with cohesive bios, links, and handles that accurately reflected the brand’s identity and voice.

Shared content followed a video-first format and was strategically aligned with specific content pillars to resonate with Deluxe Hauora’s key audiences, striking a balance between informative, entertaining, and promotional posts.

To ensure consistent engagement with the brand’s growing audience, Mint and Honey’s efforts extended into community management, ensuring all comments were actively responded to, fostering meaningful engagement with followers.

Highlights of this work included several viral TikTok videos, which significantly amplified the brand’s visibility and attracted new followers. The combination of robust platform optimisation and strategic engagement laid a solid foundation for long-term success in the digital creator space.

Following a video-first approach to maximise social media engagement, Mint and Honey developed a wide range of compelling content to engage Deluxe Hauora’s audience. All videos were created in a portrait orientation, optimised for mobile platforms, and included overlaid captions to enhance accessibility and impact.

Through impactful voiceover videos we paired compelling narratives with engaging visuals, helping to communicate Deluxe Hauora’s personality through accessible and relatable content. Content included ‘day in the life’ style narrations and sharing karakia and whakataukī.

Educational skits

Lighthearted and creative skits were crafted to entertain and educate audiences with current events. The relevancy of these topics made the content timely and widely shareable, driving higher engagement across platforms.

Matariki series

A standout feature of our content work was the development of Deluxe Hauora’s Matariki series, which blended mātauranga Māori with wellness inspiration. This series resonated deeply with the audience and showcased Deluxe Hauora’s commitment to knowledge sharing through kaupapa Māori.

Graphic design

To establish Deluxe Hauora as a credible content creator within the digital wellness space, Mint and Honey developed a foundational brand strategy and visual identity centred on simplicity. This included the design of a bespoke logo and the development of a cohesive brand colour palette. These design elements were applied consistently across all digital and physical touch points, enhancing brand recognition and ensuring a recognisable and unified appearance with opportunity available for future brand growth into branded merchandise.

Mint and Honey devised a comprehensive strategy to guide Deluxe Hauora’s content and campaigns. We developed content pillars to ensure a balanced and engaging mix of themes, including educational wellness tips, behind-the-scenes insights, and personal reflections on current events. A detailed social media strategy was implemented, supported by a content calendar to maintain consistency and optimise posting schedules.

As part of the strategy, Mint and Honey submitted a nomination for the DAPAANZ Awards, where Deluxe Hauora was recognised as the Newcomer of the Year for the Cutting Edge | Te toka Tū Moana Awards held in Kirikiriroa in 2023.
